NBC 9.1: General Standards

NBC Section 9.1 provides general requirements for the application of Part 9 of the National Building Code.

9.1.1.1. Scope. Part 9 applies to buildings of 3 storeys or less in height and having a building area not exceeding 600 square metres.

9.1.2.1. Application. The requirements of Part 9 shall be applied to ensure the safety and performance of residential buildings.
