NBC 9.13: Dampproofing and Waterproofing Standards

NBC Section 9.13 provides standards for dampproofing and waterproofing of foundations to prevent moisture ingress into the building.
9.13.2.1. Dampproofing. Foundation walls shall be dampproofed on the exterior surface below finished ground level.
9.13.3.1. Waterproofing. Where hydrostatic pressure occurs, foundation walls and floors-on-ground shall be waterproofed.
