NBC Section 9.14 outlines the requirements for drainage of building sites and foundations to prevent water accumulation and damage.
9.14.2.1. Foundation Drainage. Foundation drainage shall be provided for all buildings where the foundation is below finished ground level.
9.14.3.1. Drainage Tile and Pipe. Drainage tile or pipe shall be laid on a firm bed of gravel or crushed stone and shall be connected to a suitable outlet.
