NBC 9.19: Roof Spaces Standards

NBC Section 9.19 provides standards for roof spaces and attics, focusing on ventilation and access to prevent condensation and heat buildup.

9.19.1.1. Venting. Except where it can be shown to be unnecessary, roof spaces shall be ventilated to the outdoors.

9.19.2.1. Access. Every roof space shall be provided with an access opening if the height of the space is 600 mm or more.
