NBC 9.24: Sheet Steel Stud Wall Framing Standards

NBC Section 9.24 provides standards for the use of sheet steel studs for wall framing in residential buildings.

9.24.2.1. Steel Stud Standards. Steel studs shall conform to the appropriate CSA standards for thickness, strength, and corrosion resistance.

9.24.3.1. Installation. Steel studs shall be installed and braced to support the vertical and lateral loads from the building.
