NBC Part 8: Private Sewage Disposal Systems

8.1.1.1. Scope. This Part applies to the design, construction, and operation of private sewage disposal systems where municipal services are unavailable.

8.2.1.1. Site Evaluation. A thorough site evaluation, including soil percolation tests, is mandatory before designing a sewage system.

8.7.1.1. Leaching Beds. Leaching beds shall be sized based on the daily sewage flow and the absorptive capacity of the soil.
