NBC 9.31: Plumbing Systems Basics

9.31.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the design and installation of plumbing systems in housing and small buildings.

9.31.4.1. Hot Water Supply. Every dwelling unit shall be provided with a supply of hot water capable of meeting the peak demand of the occupants.

9.31.6.2. Floor Drains. A floor drain shall be provided in every basement or crawl space where a water heater or boiler is located.
