NBC 9.23.15: Roof Sheathing Standards

9.23.15.1. Required Sheathing. Roof sheathing shall be provided where the roofing is not capable of supporting the design loads between rafters or trusses.

9.23.15.2. Material Standards. Plywood, OSB, or lumber sheathing shall meet the prescribed thickness and grade requirements for the rafter spacing.

9.23.15.5. Edge Support. Edge support, such as H-clips or tongue-and-groove edges, shall be provided where required to prevent differential deflection.
