NBC 9.23.16: Wall Sheathing Standards

9.23.16.1. Required Sheathing. Wall sheathing shall be provided where the exterior cladding requires a continuous substrate for support or where required for bracing.

9.23.16.2. Material Standards. Wall sheathing materials shall conform to the standards for thickness and moisture resistance.

9.23.16.4. Fastening. Wall sheathing shall be fastened to the framing members with nails or staples at the prescribed spacing.
