NBC 9.24: Sheet Steel Stud Wall Framing Standards

9.24.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the design and installation of non-loadbearing sheet steel stud wall framing.

9.24.2.1. Materials. Steel studs and tracks shall meet the prescribed thickness and coating requirements for corrosion resistance.

9.24.3.1. Installation. Steel studs shall be securely fastened to the tracks and braced to provide structural stability.
