NBC 9.24: Wood-Frame Fasteners and Connectors

9.24.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the use of fasteners and connectors in wood-frame construction.

9.24.2.1. Nail Size and Spacing. Nails shall be of the prescribed size and spaced at intervals that ensure structural integrity.

9.24.3.1. Specialized Connectors. Joist hangers and other specialized connectors shall be used where required to support heavy loads.
