NBC 9.25.2: Insulation Materials Standards

9.25.2.1. Required Insulation. Thermal insulation shall be provided to minimize heat transfer through the building envelope.

9.25.2.2. Insulation Materials. Insulation materials shall conform to the applicable CSA or CAN/ULC standards for thermal resistance and fire safety.

9.25.2.4. Installation. Insulation shall be installed so that it is in continuous contact with the air barrier system to prevent air bypass.
