NBC 9.25.3: Air Barrier Systems Standards

9.25.3.1. Required Air Barrier System. An air barrier system shall be provided to provide a continuous barrier to air leakage through the building envelope.

9.25.3.2. Continuity. The air barrier system shall be continuous across joints, between different materials, and around penetrations.

9.25.3.3. Structural Loads. The air barrier system shall be designed to resist the design wind loads without failure.
