NBC 9.27.2: Cladding Materials Standards

9.27.2.1. Material Standards. Cladding materials shall conform to the applicable CSA or CAN/ULC standards for durability and moisture resistance.

9.27.2.2. Vinyl Siding. Vinyl siding shall conform to CAN/CGSB-41.24 and shall be installed with the prescribed accessories.

9.27.2.3. Fiber-Cement Siding. Fiber-cement siding shall conform to ASTM C1186 and shall be installed with the prescribed fasteners.
