NBC 9.28.3: Stucco Installation Standards

9.28.3.1. General. Stucco shall be applied in a manner that will ensure a durable and weather-resistant finish.

9.28.3.2. Number of Coats. Stucco shall be applied in at least three coats, including a scratch coat, a brown coat, and a finish coat.

9.28.3.4. Curing. Each coat of stucco shall be properly cured before the application of the subsequent coat.
