NBC 9.39: Tiny Homes and Compact Dwellings

9.39.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the design and construction of tiny homes and other compact residential structures.

9.39.2.1. Minimum Area. Tiny homes shall meet the prescribed minimum floor area requirements for the intended occupancy.

9.39.3.1. Loft Safety. Lofts used for sleeping shall be provided with adequate guards and means of egress.
