NBC 9.7: Windows, Doors and Skylights Standards

9.7.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the design and installation of windows, doors, and skylights in residential buildings.

9.7.3.1. Resistance to Forced Entry. Windows and doors shall be designed and installed to provide a prescribed level of resistance to forced entry.

9.7.4.1. Thermal Performance. Windows, doors, and skylights shall meet the prescribed thermal performance requirements to minimize energy loss.
