NECB Part 3: Trade-off Building Envelope Standards

3.3.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the trade-off path for the building envelope, allowing for flexibility in design.

3.3.2.1. Compliance. Compliance is achieved if the total heat loss of the proposed building envelope is less than or equal to that of a reference building.

3.3.3.1. Calculation. Detailed calculations shall be provided to demonstrate that the trade-off path meets the overall energy performance requirements.
